Will there be a session for SUNY employees to take advantage of the online training? After all not only we are the one engineering the online teaching solutions and ideas but also like to be the pioneer in testing out the solution.
Thanks for your question! I am not sure what “online training” you are referring to. The intention of the summit it to (1)Share information and status of current SUNY Online initiatives (sometimes that includes demonstrations and training), (2) bring national level speakers to our community to engage us in thinking about topics, issues, and challenges relevant to online teaching and learning (sometimes that includes demonstrations and training), (3) provide opportunities to inform the community, provide information and discuss opportunities, options, solutions at a strategic leadership level (sometimes that includes demonstrations and training).
