The Transformational Nature of SUNY’s Online Education Initiatives
The role of online education continues to increase within the SUNY system with almost half of our students taking at least one online course in the fall or spring semester. Hybrid and fully online learners will play an important role in SUNY’s future enrollment management. SUNY Online represents an opportunity to reverse enrollment trends at our campuses by serving more post-traditional, 100% online learners who are enrolled in SUNY degree and certificate programs. SUNY System Provost Laursen will provide an update on SUNY’s online initiative and its transformational power to fuel SUNY in the next decade.
